Website and Academy terms

Your account

Use an account you are authorized to access. Keep your sign-in provider account secure and do not share Academy account access. Your learning records and any redeemed single-use promo code belong to your Warp account. A redeemed code cannot be transferred to another account.

Learning and acceptable use

Course content is for learning and practice. Completion badges reflect Warp course requirements; they are not vendor certifications or a guarantee of employment or professional competence. Test automation carefully before using it on real systems.

Do not use the platform to access another person's data without permission, interfere with the service, bypass access or usage controls, distribute malicious software, or attack third-party systems. Use only the environments and tasks assigned to you. Never bring production credentials or confidential customer data into a training lab.

Warp may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, or violations of these terms. Contact us if you believe a restriction was applied in error.

Content and changes

Warp and its licensors retain their rights in course materials, software, and branding. You may use the materials for your own learning. Do not redistribute or sell proprietary course materials or assessment answers without permission. Third-party software and references remain subject to their respective licenses and terms.

We may update course content, prerequisites, assessments, and platform features. Updated assessments may require new evidence of competency while retaining historical completion records. We aim to communicate material changes affecting enrolled learners.

Availability and payments

Foundations courses are free. Paid courses, learning-path bundles, monthly membership and lab-time top-ups are priced in USD as shown on the plans page. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout before payment. Payment is processed by Stripe. Access is granted only after confirmed payment. Course prerequisites still apply after purchase.

Individual course and path purchases provide continued access to the courses listed at purchase. A bundle discounts courses you already own and reduces its included lab hours proportionally. Future additions to a path are not automatically included. Monthly membership renews automatically each month at the price shown at checkout until cancelled. Cancel through Manage billing in your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Subscription access and unused monthly lab time expire when that paid period ends. Separately purchased courses and lab time remain available.

Lab time

One lab hour covers the whole assigned environment. Provisioning time is not charged. Once ready, running time consumes your available hours. Sessions stop when idle or when their time limit ends; unused reserved time returns to your balance. Purchased and course-included lab hours do not expire; monthly membership hours expire at the end of each paid period and do not roll over. There are no automatic top-ups or overage charges. Lab availability may be limited by capacity, maintenance, or security controls.

Refunds and billing support

Request a full refund at contact@initwarp.com within 14 days of the relevant purchase or renewal if you have completed no course and used less than one lab hour during the period since that payment. Include your account email and purchase reference; never send card details. We review requests using course completion and lab usage records. Approved full refunds remove the access and unused credits granted by the refunded payment; independent purchases are preserved. Cancelling a subscription does not itself request a refund. Billing errors and service failures are reviewed separately. Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded still apply.

Cybersecurity service engagements are governed by their own agreed proposals and contracts.

The platform may be unavailable during maintenance or incidents. Course examples may require adaptation to your environment. These terms do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Privacy and updates

Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal information. We will publish updates to these terms with their effective date and provide appropriate notice of material changes. Contact contact@initwarp.com with account, access, or policy questions.
